Az alkotmánymódosításokkal kapcsolatos kulcskérdésekre keresi a választ új könyvében a kanadai származású, Amerikában élő alkotmányjogász professzor, Richard Albert. A könyvben alkotmányozók mellet végzett tanácsadói tevékenysége tapasztalataira épít, és egyben átfogó képet ad a világban fellelhető, alkotmánymódosítással összefüggő hagyományokról.

A természetes környezet „jogainak” védelme érdekében alkotmánymódosítás iránti javaslatot nyújtott be az egyik svéd képviselőnő. A javaslat jogalanyisággal ruházná fel a természetet annak érdekében, hogy megvédje az emberek általi kihasználástól és pusztítástól.
